Hello Tigers!
My name is Jordyn Meyer and this will be my second year with Scott Elementary. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in the fall of 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math. After graduating, I was hired with the EVSC as a Kindergarten teacher at Hebron Elementary, but then moved to 4th and 5th grade Art the following year. After moving to Scott, I taught 6th grade ELA and Social Studies. The 2022-2023 school year will be my first year in 3rd Grade and I am ready for this new adventure! Outside of school, my favorite hobby is dancing. Since a young age, I have been involved with various dance groups both as a dancer and as a coach. I co-coached an elementary school Pom-Pom team for eight years and then moved to creating the first dance team at Hebron Elementary. Besides dance, my hobbies include watching and playing various sports such as basketball, tennis, and football. Go Colts! My goal for this year is to create a fun, welcoming classroom environment where your student can thrive academically. I look forward to having a great year! Go Tigers! |
